When i crank the van it keeps stalling off inless i hit gas to keep it crunk. and when i stop at lights also when i push the gas to speed up or go from a stop it flutters and does not pick up speed. i have to push it to the floor to go.

If the engine RPM drops and does not recover, its usually a faulty idle air control valve. Can you keep your foot on the gas and keep it running when you come to a stop ? Is the check engine light on ?
just had to replace the fuel pump on my 1999 Saab 9-3 with 130 K after being frustrated with stalling over the past 6 months. Earlier attempts to fix the problem were to replace the crank sensor and purge valve but that was just a waste of $600.
It's always something with this car unfortunatley!
This sounds like a classic case of either a dirty/faulty IAC (Idle Air Control) motor or a sticking EGR valve. If you can prevent it from stalling by keeping your fot on the gas slightly and it always restarts right away and runs good when restarted, I'd suspect the IAC first. If it "chugs"when stopping and will run rough even with a little (not a lot) of gas pedal and/or it runs rough when restarted, I'd suspect the EGR.
check the main crank pulley, make sure that it does not move independently from the crank shaft, you should not be able to move it easily
check the bolt SHOULD BE TIGHT
I HAVE SEEN THEM BREAK WHERE IT BOLTS TO THE CRANK
also if it is soaked with oil, the rubber may be bad therefore pulley will not fuction properly.
Have 1994 blazer 4X4 vortec replaced fuel filter and check for gas at air valve at back of engine . it cranks but no start. tried littel gas throltle body it started for second . also its been setteing up for awhile > isit the fuel relay Thx
