Question about 2001 Chevrolet Malibu
So my girlfriend drove her car home from a friends this morning. Everything was fine other than a strange noise coming from the passenger side brake/wheel area. I jacked up the car and went to start it so I could put it in gear to listen with the wheel off. It would not start. I put the wheel back on and lowered the car. Still wouldn't start. I'm a little baffled. The car started fine this morning when I moved it. Sometimes when starting the car is spits and sputters and dies. Turn the key again and it starts right up. I checked the schrader valve on the fuel rail and fuel came out but it was frothy and bubbly looking. The plugs are more white on the tips like its running lean. Sound like a weak fuel pump? Thanks for any help.
I have a problem with my car where the build in theft system kicks on and I have to leave teh car in the on position for about 10 minutes turn it to the off position and then start it. You will see the theft light blinking and wait til it stops and disappears before trying to start it again.
