I am having the same problem. I traced the problem to the antitheft box in the car. I was told that a certified mechanic can reset the box and the problem should be corrected. But if the wires going from the large harness from that box get hot to the touch then there might be an arch occuring causing the malfunction. In either case you can unplug the large harness and during the day you have no problems but at night you need to plug that harness back in to get your lights to work and when you arrive at your destination unplug the harness again.

The crank shaft pulley drives them all. One pulley drives the power steering pump-- another drivers the alternator -- another drives the alternator-- another drives the ac compressor and the last ones will be adjuster idlers.

Hi, i would check the thermostat first unless the water pump is leaking
as the water pump is where the timing belt is is the timing belt needs
removing to get to the pump, take the thermostat out and place it in a
tub of boiling water and check if it opens up if it dont then it will
you need to bare in mind that it could also be head gasket failure so
make sure you get this tested if the thermostat is found to be in
hi this depends on what harmonic balancer you are inquiring about, normal balancers do have a woodruff key,but the pulley type harmonic balancer only bolts to a cam hub on what ever it is connected to, such as water pump, etc etc... hope this helps
