Car ignition problem

Good morning/afternoon/evening.

I've come across a problem with my ignition system.
after going about 2 ;miles the car felt as though it wasn't 'pulling' as it should do, I turned off the engine, went back 10 minutes later, turned the key and it wouldn't start. All the electrics are there and fuel is in the tank, it doesn't fire in the final sequence of ignition, could it be spark plugs, please say yes as my nearest garage is miles away!!

I have a 2001 Kia Sportage. It has about 120,000 miles on it. This morning it was really cold, like maybe 5 degrees. When I pulled out of my garage the brake pedal was really hard to push and the car felt...

Have you ever had the brake system flushed? Brake fluid like any other fluid can become contaminated and needs to be changed. When the weather gets cold the fluid can gel slightly and cause the problem you are having with the brakes.

96 chevy c1500. Temp does not get above 100 in the morning for 12 miles or so. Then in the afternoon in comes up. WHY

My first guess would be a faulty thermostat assuming the cooling system is full of fluid.

Series II 4.0 litre V8 Land Rover Discovery runs but stalls out after a few miles. The vehicle restarts after cooling down it seems. This generally takes a couple of hours or a tow back home. Service

Sounds like the same issue I had with my 2002 Discovery 2 V8. Mine used to run for about 10 minutes, then die, usually in the most inconvenient locations! The Crank sensor is in need of replacement. It sits near the exhaust downpipe (behind a heat shield) but obviously this shield isn't enough as they die after about 80,000-100,000 miles. Just get it replaced and I think your issues will solved.

My mitsubishi will not start in the morning but will start int he afternoon

Don't use my answer as the right one but it could have something to do with a worn out battery or the fact that everything is warmer in the afternoon which allows easier cranking of the engine since it requires less energy/force whatever to turn it over and ignite to start the engine. (Since fuel and air is warmer which ignites easier under compression stroke. Not 100% sure but hope this gets you further mate. :)

Ignition to tight and key will not turn.

Try turning the steering wheel while you turn the ignition key.

sometimes the linkage that locks your steering wheel puts pressure on the switch mechanisum and keeps it from turning

Hope Its this simple!

Ignition Problems

I think in most cases you may have a weak fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. Even though your fuel system is run by pressure it doesn't always prevent the car from stalling if the engine is starved because of a bad filter or faulty fuel pump
