Infiniti M alerts police?

Is it true that the Infiniti M has a program that alerts police if you are speeding/at too high of a speed? I read somewhere online that this program is installed in the the M series, is this true?

I would say no. There is a black box in every new car that can record that information, but as of now you just can't transmit it to the police.I see it happening in the future .

My 1992 infiniti q45 stalls and shuts off after high speed driving

I'm sorry to inform you that those cars have alot of issues. If you could be more specific, it would help. Does it stall & shut off while you are driving at high speeds? What about just going across town at 35mph or so? Does going up hill have anything to do with it or duration of running time? What exactly do you mean by high speeds? 55-65mph or like 95 mph for prolonged periods? Do you notice your engine or transmission heating up at all?

I have a 2008 Infinity QX-56 and it shakes terribly when I apply the brakes when driving at highway speeds. It also feels like the suspension is bad when you go over a bump or hit a pot-hole.

Warped brake rotor usually cause high vibration at high speeds. But you can also feel it at lower speeds. But bad ball joints and tie rod end will cause vibration at high speeds. Ball joints will pop at pot holes, sometimes. Tie rods can be felt in the steering wheel at a stop. Move the wheel slightly to the left and right, you can feel/hear a tap as you turn it.

There is a factory service bulletin for the 2003-2010 Infiniti vehicles with 5-Speed A/T for the P1759 code. The bulletin recommends replacing the Transmission Valve Body to fix the problem.

Infiniti j30 1995 jerking at high speeds, no check engine light? what could be the problem?

First off define "High" Speeds. Some models were equipped with throttle governors and or rpm limiters that prevented over revving and also kept the vehicle from exceeding certain speeds. Other than that, there are some auto stores that offer free computer scans that may be able to diagnose your problem.

I have two questions 2001 ford Crown Vic LS, Codes read: (p0720 output speed sensor circuit), & (p1131 lack of heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1 switch indicates lean)........Keep in mined that I...

The PCM is programed for the LS engine parameters and now that you have changed engines the signal from the new engine are out of parameters> Either see if you can get the PCM reprogrammed at a dealership or purchase a new PCM and program the chip with the police engine interceptor to the vehicle> you may also return to the place where you got the engine and purchase the PCM for the police vehicle.

Hello...My wiper motor only wants to work on High and Low speed but no delay...Is this in the motor or possibly a switch issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

This could be a motor or a switch problem with no delay. It also could be a relay problem. The only true way to find out which one is to use a voltmeter and test it. Unplug the wires to motor, hook up meter, test in all speeds. If you get a reading on all speeds, then motor is bad. If you get the same response, then switch or relay is bad. You can perform voltage test from the switch as well

Heater fan blower only functions on high speed?

the resistor for the blower motor is faulty, its either integrated into the switch (speed selector) or its on the firewall somewhere, where ever it is, it has to be replaced.

1987 Maxima- runs rough at low speeds, won't pass 50/15 emmissions test. High speed ok, black smoke from exhaust when starting after stall at low speeds.

check your injectors.use a ohm meter and check resistance. 1987 maxima reading is somewhere between 10.1-14.2 ohms. if out of spec, replace. Also check your air flow meter and air box, make sure its all clean in there. good luck. post results.
