The FX is a bouncy car, but it's necessary to accommodate it's good performance. You can try some aftermarket air shocks, or check into different tires. That should help.

The engine used in the FX 25 is Nissan's VQ35DE, 3.5 L Twin cam.....same as used on the pathfinder, and good news for you, no timing belt....only timing chain.......whihc means it shoud never have to be replaced, unless noisy or breaks (which never happens)
First focus on making sure that the seat is appropriate for your child and has done well in crash tests. Car seats are meant to fit in just about every car although if you have a small backseat you may just need to squish it in more. The type of car you have really shouldnt matter
