I have a 2000 300M that has a transmission return cooler line leak (??) and I need to know a quick fix to get it back home 1200 miles

Depending on where the leak is, you may be able to cut the bad piece out and use rubber hose or a brake line to reconnect it. If you use rubber hose you may need to flare the lines to keep the hose from slipping off. If it is one of the ends where the line connects to the radiator or the transmission you may have to get a new line and fitting from the dealer.

Elantra 2001 manual, the clutch pedal travels a long way out before it engages

There is two possibilities, 1: the vehicle has more than 90.000 and needs a clutch and the other the hydraulic system is leaking, to inspect open the hood and find the little reservoir make sure not to inspect the brake fluid level, if the fluid level is low look for the source of that leak, start at the most common place the clutch sleeve cylinder attached to the manual transmission, then the line from the cylinder to the reservoir, if all this is dry, my friend you need a clutch.

2000 Hyundai elantra brake lights will not turn off ? what to do?

Check the switch at the brake pedal, might be stuck in. (ie as if you were pressing the brake). This is probably a small round plastic bar just behind the brake pedal.

hope this helps.

2000 Chev Cavalier - slight leak in brake line connector directly under the drivers side door. Can this connector be replaced or do the lines have to be re-flared?

Normally this far back the line would have to be reflared to fix the leak. If you have a Firestone auto repair near you they check the brake system at no charge and you can see exactly what is wrong while it is on the lift.
