Timing chain to big

Could u please give me step by step instructions on how to fix my rear brakes how to bleed and what to unscrew to fit brake pad around rotor disc. Please i have to work. Dnt want to get fired.


You have to take the whole brake unit off the disc. Usually two bolts holding it to it's mounting. Fit the new pads to it and put it back on. You will have to force them apart to fit them over the disc. Should not need to bleed the brakes. Make sure the bolts are tight.

Replacing 2008 Ford Ranger Motor-took motor out, need to put torque converter back on transmission but it will not fit properly on. What can I do to get it to fit?


It should if you turn it while pushing it on by it's self and nothing else attached. Be careful as not to break the "tangs" . You can also do this which is more reconmended.

Go to online site of autozone, oreillys...etc and you may have to register but they have free online step by step manuals.

Change serpentine belt on 06 sienna


  1. 1 Check to ensure the Sienna's engine is cold, then make sure the Sienna is in park, the ignition is in the off position and the key is removed from the ignition to prevent any possibility of the engine engaging during the serpentine belt replacement.
  2. 2 Open the hood and locate the serpentine belt routing diagram sticker on the side of the engine casing. Study it for a moment before removing the existing belt. It is essential the new belt be installed exactly as the diagram indicates.
  3. 3 Find the tensioner pulley, the main pulley that controls the serpentine belt, and fit a 1/2-inch socket wrench over the self-tensioner on the outside of the pulley.
  4. 4 Pull the wrench to the left to move the pulley forward, which loosens the belt, then remove the belt.
  5. 5 Compare the old serpentine belt with the new, replacement belt for length, width and number of grooves on the belt's underside. Be certain the replacement belt is the right part.
  6. 6 Fit the new belt on to each pulley according to the serpentine belt routing diagram on the manufacturer's sticker, or according to the drawing made prior to removing the old belt. Fit the new belt on to the tensioner pulley last, again applying pressure on the pulley's self-tensioner with the half-inch socket wrench to loosen the pulley.
  7. 7 Release the pressure on the self tensioner and allow the tensioner pulley to ease back into place, thereby tightening the new serpentine belt with the appropriate tension.
  8. 8 Remove the wrench and close the hood.

anything can be made to fit anything now and days. What you need to ask your self is do I want to make it fit. First I would go to Crutchfield and ask them if they have a adaptar plate and plug set up that will work on my radio to fit my car. They sell the best kits around and will send you the directions step by step to do what you want if its possible.

STEP 1 Remove Air Filter. STEP 2 Loosen the bolts securing the crankshaft pulley. Remove the load from the belt tensioner by turning the belt tensioner pulley locking bolt forward in the car using a 15 mm wrench. Remove the belt from the coolant pump pulley and slowly release the belt tensioner. STEP 3 Remove the belt tensioner and remove the steering pump pulley STEP 4 Remove the water pump pulley use the engine bracket to pry against. STEP 5 Remove the timing cover and Remove the right-hand front wheel and the cover in the wheel housing. STEP 6 Remove the crankshaft pulley (undo the six bolts but do not remove the centre bolt). STEP 7 Place the engine top dead center and Zero the engine. The markings on the camshaft sprockets and timing cover should be in alignment as also should the marking on the crankshaft. Use locking tools 83 95 006 and KM-800-2 for the camshaft sprockets and locking tool KM-800-10 for the crankshaft (These tools can be purchased from Saab (18774177222) or from Baum Tools). STEP 8 Before removing the toothed belt mark its direction of rotation . To facilitate refitting the belt can be marked at both the camshaft marking and the crankshaft marking. STE9cc7b85.jpgP 9
STEP 10 Fit the toothed belt according to the marked direction of rotation. Use setting tool 83 95 006 to keep the belt in place and adjust the tensioning roller loosely by hand to prevent the belt from jumping off. Adjust counterclockwise. Fit a section of the toothed belt and fit tool 83 93 985 to measure the belt tension. Loosely tighten the centre bolts of the adjusting rollers. Adjust the lower adjusting roller counter clockwise to a belt tension of 275-300 Nm. Turning torque 30 lb.ft ft ******The adjustment of the belt tension is for preparation ONLY and must not be used as a check when the belt adjusted for the final time! STEP 11 Turn the engine over two revolutions until just before the zero mark and place the locking tool on the crankshaft. Carefully turn the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation until the arm rests against the coolant pump's flange and then tighten the arm. Fit setting tool 8395006 and check that the markings on the camshaft sprockets are aligned with the markings in the tool. ********Check that the A marking is approximately 2mm above B marking. If the distance is less readjustment is necessary. STEP 12 Fit the crankshaft pulley and Tighten to a torque of 15 foot lbs. STEP 13 Reinstall the inner wheel cover and front right wheel.
STEP 14 Reinstall Timing Cover.
STEP 15 Reinstall the water pump pulley use the engine bracket for leverage. STEP 16 Reinstall the power steering pulley and tighten to 6 foot lbs. STEP 17 Reinstall the belt tensioner and tighten to 30 foot lbs. STEP 18 Remove the belt tensioner load/pressure by turning the belt tensioner pulley locking bolt forwards in the car using a 15 mm wrench. Install the belt on the coolant pump pulley. Carefully release the belt tensioner. STEP 19 Reinstall the Air Cleaner and hoses that accompany Release the belt tension and remove the toothed belt.

Change front tire


Hi,

Before you start make sure you have the following:
- jack or any other instrument to lift the car
- tool to open the tire bolts
- spare tire
- if you ar eon the side of the road a warning triangle or any other object to make sure the oncoming traffic can see you.

step 1 - Open the tire bolts, remove all of them but two. The bolts left on the tire should be left quite loose (you should be able to open then with your hands).

step 2 - Position jack underneath car & lift car. VERY IMPORTANT to make sure the jack if proparly positioned & that the car is stable (for a car that has one wheel in the air...), so it won't fall on you. Don't stop lifting once the flat tire is in the air, remmber you have to fit in a new tire. Lift it so the new tire can fit in.

step 3 - Remove the last to bolts with your hands, while loosening secure the tire with one hand so it won't fall on you.

step 4 - Remove flat tire, while doing make sure not to damage the bolt which the tire sits on.

step 5 - Fit new tire in, screw 2 bolts by hand to secure it place.

step 6 - Screw rest of bolt by hand so secure tire in place. Make sure to "push" the tire as firm as possible to the car.

step 7 - Lower car. Do this slowly incase the tire isn't sitting properly.

step 8 - Tighten all the bolts properly, don't over tighten them, cause the next time you have to change the tire, you won't be able to open them.

step 9 - After driving a bit with the car, retighten the bolts, just to make sure nothing is loose.

This only sounds a bit complicated it's much simpler in practice then on paper.
