My 1999 Ford Contour SE wont start

It's possible that the defective plugs blew out the Ignition Control Module. Are you getting any spark from the plugs? Try removing one of the plug leads, hold it about 1/4" from a metal surface, and have someone crank the engine. You should see a strong spark. If not, then I'd replace the ICM and see what happens.

1996 dodge ram v6 will not start and run. the last mechanic said it might be the fuel pump or catalytic converter. please list the checklist of items, to test and review, to get it running

spray fuel starter fluid in the throttle body.if it runs,it is a fuel issue.
check the voltage at the fuel pump wires, should be 12 volts.
bang on the tank with a piece of 2x4 and see if the pump starts .
sometimes the pump has a dead spot.
check for spark with a spark tester.
check the plugs, wires, cap rotor, timing, and grounds first.
