I don't really know how lexus motors are, but the thermostat is most often found in the top radiator line right where it goes into the engine. There's a little neck piece that connects the hose to the engine. You should find it under that neck piece. You generally can't see it from the outside. Hope this helps

Where is the thermostat located

open the cars hood, and look at the top radiator hose. follow that hose to the engine. where the hose connects to the engine, is a cover or cap. under that cap is the thermostat. the cap should have 2 bolts about 13 mm. holding it down. its an easy fix, and if your going to do it yourself, just let me know, and I'll tell you how. hope this helps

Where is the thermostat located in a 93 lexus gs 300

The thermostat is located on the side of the engine block which follow the bottom radiator hose, it should have 2 nuts on it. You should also temporary remove the air intake hose for ease of access and remove the thermostat.
