What color wire is the power for high beam?

It can be any color. The way to determine it for sure, look under the hood, check the headlight assembly and note the color of the wire that connects to the most center. Look at the bulb to be sure that it is the high beam. Or ask the dealer's service desk to look it up for you.

I have a wiring problem.

Need your make and model. Usually low/high beam lights have 3 inputs. While high beam only lights have only two. Every make/model has different color schemes so that's why it's important to have full make/model. Someone with experience could easily do it with a multi-meter. It's all 12 volts. One ground, two hot wires one for low one for high.

High Beam Wire Color? Distinction between three?

with a test light ground connected to the positive battery terminal,,the one that will light up the light is the ground...the other 2 wires are the low and high beam. cut one of those,if the low beam is now on,you cut the high beam wire. if the high beam stays on,you cut the low beam wire.

One headlight not working high beam works

Do I understand correctly, high beam works on both sides, but low beam only one side? If that is correct, check the bulb plug and contacts, clean any corrosion, coat w dielectric grease (available at any parts store). It's much more likely at the connection (plug in) than a wire. If this doesn't help, let me know.
