To reset anti theft system--turn key on engine off, for about 10 minutes. after 10 minutes, turn key off, wait 15 seconds, then try to start car. from 97-2005 gms have a theft system called a passlock system. you can go to tubesound.com/passlocksystem. to disable system for good.
