Question about 2004 Nissan Quest
There haven't been tune-ups in 30 years, since 1981 when all vehicles went to electronics.
That is just a pitch and false advertising, used in an industry that never has been able to get a good reputation, when there are good honest repair shops and people out there. They still are in fear of the public and use old terms and are afraid to charge what is necessary for the work they do.
You shouldn't go 100,000 miles on spark plugs as the auto makers would have you believe. About every 3 years or 50 to 70,000 miles is more than enough on spark plugs. There is no tuning or adjusting going on, on todays vehicles.
You have air filter, cabin filter, gas filter, and all your fluids to change. ALL of them at some point. You set up your own schedule and don't wait on the owners manual. Do the trans fuid every couple years or 30,000 at most, same on power steering. I would suggest flushing the brake fluid every couple years. Coolant every three years, filters every two or three
