Question about 2000 Ford Taurus
Probably its just coincidence but the accident dont have much to do with the error code .. This
is a common problem ,, basically there is a device called a clock
spring in the steering wheel, this device is like a bearing with a coil
that turns with the steering yet allows the air bag in the steering to
be powered. Now this has brushes and wires and a bearing fitted in such a
manner the steering can turn freely without breaking contact. Well
eventually the wires break and it needs replacing. This involves
removing the steering and replacing the spring. I strongly suggest you
get a professional to do this as there is no room for error reasons
