See if your getting power from ignition switch. if not thats the problem. also check wires to fuse box. also check the fuse that protects the battery curcuit. it may be underhood in fuse box.

My power windows stopped working at same time with drivers window halfway down this is on 1988 325i BMW any suggestions

Sounds as if you may have blown a fuse. In the power distribution box located under the hood of the vehicle (see picture below) is a 30 am fuse just for all the power windows. Below is also a diagram of the fuse layout and I marked the fuse you may want to check (#17). Now there is also a circuit breaker somewhere in that panel but not exactly sure of its location but it supposed to be in there (sorry I don't have a picture). The circuit breaker should reset itself after and overload of power. I say should but they get weak after time so if the fuse is good, this may be what you are dealing with. Hope it's just a fuse and that this helped...

06 DODGE STRATUS WINDOWS INOP, NO POWER TO FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER

If no power to the fuse panel for that fuse and circuit breaker, you may have a maxi-fuse burnt out in the power distribution box by or near the battery. Check all your fuses under the hood.

All 4 of my power windows stopped working, and i can't find anything about a power window fuse in my manual

Power window usually don't have a fuse but an automatically resetting breaker. If all four windows stopped working at the same time check the body control module that is what manages the power windows. Good luck.

Power windows stopped working

If the power to the illumination and the switches is out in the door, I would say it is a broken wire in the A-pillar to the door on the driver's side.

This is a Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire, it powers both the illumination and the windows themselves.

1995 Toyota Camry LE. No power windows operate

the fuse switch is merely a fuse in your fuse panel ,,however many issues regarding this is between the door jamb in the plastic boot the wires over time become worn from all the opening and closing of the door if you remove the switch itself and use of a test light will ensure proper diagnosis is there power to the switch if so then it may very well be the switch itself
