Question about 2000 Hyundai Accent
The fuel filter wouldn't be an issue. Why would you change it, unless it was 5 years old, and you performed a test to prove it was dirty and restricted?
The module would have to be tested or the ignition looked at with ideally an oscilloscope or other test equipment before replacing it.
Is the a check light on the dash?
Have you checked fuel pressure?
Do you know how to test a fuel pump for Current Draw or look at the Armature sectors with a scope?
Your best bet is to spend the money one time and have it properly diagnosed and repaired at a local shop, not a dealer.
