Question about 1999 Cadillac DeVille
Ok these are 2 separate issues I'll start from the air bags since thats the most complicated one to fix.. This is a common problem ,, basically there is a device called a clock spring in the steering wheel, this device is like a bearing with a coil that turns with the steering yet allows the air bag in the steering to be powered. Now this has brushes and wires and a bearing fitted in such a manner the steering can turn freely without breaking contact. Well eventually the wires break and it needs replacing.
