Question about 2004 Ford F150

Ford f-150 2005 4.6 stalls when stopped or in reverse... for some reason this started after replacing the air filter myself any ideas???????

You may have inadvertently touched the MAF (Mass Airflow) sensor. Make sure this is free of debris or skin oil as it may cause the truck to run too lean or rich in its Fuel/Air mixture. You can find MAF cleaner at any auto parts store.

Without seeing a picture of the engine and the hose its hard to diagnose it.It could be water in your gas,or it could be a busted timing belt or a vacuum hose

with 117000miles buy a new ics valve and replace,its easy 2 bolts 1 gasket 1 wire to unclip.when you have the part in hand look for it on the throttle body near the black intake hose from the air filter.

MY 98 FORD WINDSTAR STALLS WHEN I IDLE OR COMING TO A STOP I'VE CHANGED AIR FLOW SENSOR, AIR FILTER, SPARK PLUGS, AND FUEL FILTER ANY IDEAS?


I'd be looking at removing IAC valve, and cleaning it out with throttle body spray cleaner, and checking mounting gasket as well. Usually some success with cleaning it & spray ports it came out of, but if not you may need to replace it.

2001 mazda protege keeps stalling


my 2001 mazda protege starts hard, idles low and high at various times (never normal) and it acts as though its going to stall at all times. sparks and wires are changed no help, changed air filter no help. any idea on what to do?
