Remove the headlamp assembly (three 10mm bolts). Disconnect the wire harness connector to the assembly. Locate the bulb socket where the directional bulb fell out. Counter-clockwise, twist the bulb socket and remove from headlamp assy. Either return the bulb to its socket, OR replace the bulb & re-insert the socket into the headlamp assy. Reinstall the Headlamp Assy.

Replace right low beam headlight bulb on 2003 Golf

The back of the headlight case has a slip-clamp, then you can remove the back of the case. Twist the socket the wire is attached to until it releases. When putting in the new bulb, be sure to wear gloves. The bulb will develop a hot-spot if it gets any oil from your skin on it. Both of my low beam lights went out at once, which I am told is very unusual. It cost me $30 to replace them myself!

How do i change the headlight bulbs on 2003 jetta

#1. DON'T TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE NEW BULB WITH YOUR HANDS. The oils, no matter how clean your hands are, will greatly shorten the lifr of the bulb.

#2 Open the hood, on the back of the headlight housing there are two covers. 1 is curved and held with metal retainers, and the other is plastic. You want to remove the curved one by sliding aside the metal retainers, carefully with a screwdriver.

#3 Unplug the connecter attached to the bulb.

#4 Next there is a plastic retainer holding in the bulb. A quick turn one way or the other and that's off. The bulb is free.

Installation is just the reverse, make sure you get the plastic retainer (#4) on the correct way otherwise the bulb will either fall out or be at an odd angle

Replace low beam headlight on 2003 chevy trailblazer

I just replaced the low-beam bulb on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. The grill just needs to be loosed slightly. Then, raise two L shaped brackets, one on each side. For the inside one, I needed to use a flathead screwdriver to get to it. The light assembly can then be pulled out. Remove the rubber cover and rotate the bulb one quarter turn left to release it. Pull out the bulb, replace with a new one ($11.50) from Advance Auto Parts, and reverse the process. Once I figured it out, took about 10 minutes total.

There is a round 3 inch rubber cap directly behind the bulb assembly. Pull it off with your hand or pry it with a screw driver. With that cover off you can reach in and turn the bulb assembly counter clockwise a 1/4 turn then it pops rite out. There is a white clip on the bulb assembly that must be undone to remove the bulb. Re install in reverse order.

2006 Hyundia Elentra Stereo and key door opener not working

There is more than one fuse to check. There is also a fuse panel under the hood near the car's battery. Check all fuses. Most cases this fuse can be labeled "Back Up".

Replace headlight

Remove coolant overflow bottle and windshield washer bottle neck (by turning neck counterclockwise about 3/4 inch and pulling up on it). That will open up the light bulb area. Nissan has a headlamp campaign, where bulbs get replaced for free to you and in some cases the whole headlamp gets replaced, bacause of the plastic falling apart, where bulb sits. Check with your dealer if the campaign is open on you vehicle. FREE
