Check to see if Inertia switch has disconnected power to the fuel pump. This switch is often paired with the Air-ride switch in the trunk or behind the front floor kick panels.

Broken pump front lower left. Looks to be air, or smog pump. What is the name of the pump and what does it do?

There are two types of air pumps on the cadillac. First one I think of is the smog pump that is belt driven and has large rubber hoses coming off (maybe 1" or so in diameter). The second is the air pump that is electrically powered for the ride levelling in the rear with small plastic air tubes leading to the rear.

I'm not sure which one you have there, but maybe that will help.

Air suspetion inactive ,trainsmition in neutral both codes

Maintaining anything requires following the controls.
Before just replacing things like struts, you need to check the power, then the switch, then the control box, then the pump, and then finally the strut. You did it backwards.

And of course the transfer box would be in neutral while driving on dry pavement. You only engage the transfer box when you want 4WD, and if you do that on dry pavement, you will wear out the steering.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as a lemon car.

1992 Subaru legacy ls wagon w/air suspension. Air pump appears to be working but very low, bumpy ride. Does not appear the shocks are working properly.

your shocks are leaking or a leak in the lines or pump it has a rolling diaphram when you hit a speed they lower and raise on speed

if you cant find the leak you can pump the strut with a compressor if it has a leak replace it if they are expensive and you wish a cheeper fix you can cap off the front lines or rear or replace all of them with regular coils and struts if off a used car the struts may be bad the spring is heavy and the strut needs to be removed and checked if its bad get new ones they are not cheep but the air ride struts new are a grand or better well they use to be a used one was a few hundred i replaced them with springs on a gl-10 years ago and the light may blink remove the bulb or a wire under the drivers side seat not sure on that year

Air ride air comp not comming on new air pump

If everything else is working, the compressor and the air bags are good, and the lines are ok, then you might have a bad leveling switch. That what actually controls the compressor.

Cant get air ride system to work. already replaced air pump and leveling switch. have power to both. on a 1995 cadillac deville.

This may sound stupid but are the correct shocks and struts for air ride on it. I had a guy bring in his caddy with the same problem and the guy he bought it off of didn't want to pay for the expensive shocks and instead went with a cheaper pair without air capabilities. I put the right ones on and problem solved.

I have a 95 Lincoln Continental, the back end was way too high so I released the air in the bags. Now the only problem is that the pump can't lift up the car. Is there any ways to get air into the system...

located on the air suspension pump, there is a air fitting on top which you can inflate with an air hose, start the car and when the pump comes on, add should stop pumping when the ride height sensor gets to the adjusted height....hope this helps....GL
