Why does my Cadillac overheat at a stoplight or while idleing? No leaks (except overflow) and I just put in a new radiator (I thought it was the cause).

It may be that the cooling fans are not coming on. If the air conditioner works, turn it on, after about 2to3 minutes the cooling fans should come on. If they don't then start with the fuse's. There is a fuse center under the hood, also check the Max fuses. The locations should be on the underside of the cover for the fuse center. If all fuses check good then try hot wiring the fans and see if they run. Hope this gives you some help. Let me know

Might be a head gasket, might be a freeze (expansion) plug. You COULD try one tube of AlumaSeal or BronzeSeal, see if that helps. DO NOT use one of the waxy-type cooling-system sealers - they just clog your cooling system.

your car needs a 'complete tuneup'. clean the EGR port, remove the throttle body and clean - don't just spray, its not enough, remove all vacuum hoses and clean and brush all ports that are connected to the plenum, remove anyports that are connected to the plenum and clean them also, remove the plenum and brush and clean the ******. if you have time, take out the intake manifold and clean also....and that should do it.
