Possibly an ignition module or crank sensor problem. These are the two most common stalling electronics that will cause a stall when they get warm/hot and will then continue to operate once cooled down

How to purge air from the radiator

normally the radiator will purge itself as long as the overflow jug remains at the recommended level. warm eng to normal operating temp if you have no leaks it should draw water as needed from the overflow jug when you shut the eng off .. it may take a few times of starting and stopping eng but this method does work.. careful as the radiator fluid is very HOT !!! if no overflow jug is in your system go to highest rad. hose and open the system there.only do this when eng is cool. slowly fill radiator at the cap holding the hose you remove higher than the cap. a helper is needed for this procedure. starting at btm rad hose gently squeeze entire length of hose working your way to the next lowest hose do the same procedure for each hose. heater hoses also need be done reattach hose start eng let idle till normal operatin temp is reached turn heater to full heat . let eng cool then chk level of rad. repeat as needed. good luck .TIP : be patient .

My lower rad hose blew off and eng.heated.I let veh cool down nd restarted it and eng. sounded fine so i put hose back on and replaced t-stat and filledf with coolant. I then went to start the eng. to let...

How to check if its a head gasket failure: Fill all holes in rad and pipes so the coolant stays in. When it has cooled, take of the coolant filler cap and watch the coolant when you start the car. If bubbles are coming up and can be seen when you look in the coolant filler, the head gasket has gone.

Cool start won't start when cold outside

it often happens in the winter, naturally, the cold weather will have some effect on all the car's system, especially the battery and cooling system.

06 equinox eng cut out when warm does not crank over untill cool

Start with the fuel pump. When you get into your car turn the ignition key to the on position but do not start your car.Listen for the fuel
Pump to engage, you will hear a low whine. If you hear the pump engage, that doesn't rule that the fuel pump is fine.It sounds like the pump though.

I have an 86 honda prelude 2.0si and Once my prelude is warmed up and I shut it off it won't start back up for at least another 30min to an hour. I got a new relay sensor, new distributor and timing...

I use to own an 88 prelude,2.0 engine also, had quite a few problems with it,how many miles does the engine have?hopefully u have had the timing belt replaced at about 60,000 miles I pd.someone to do that, bought the part, etc.,they hadnt done the job,and mine broke,it has an interferance engine, and basically had to have the whole head rebuilt, was never the same, but also how long do u warm it up for?only needs about 5-10min.to do that.,do u know how high the idle is set for?should be about 1-2 r.p.m.'s,on the tachometer, and should be just a little above the cold reading on the engine temp.gauge.sorry for all these ?., also when u let it sit and warm up too long,it can heat up the engine, and it may be trying to cool down, before wanting to start again.do the cooling fans automatically come on? are u saying it won't even turn over,or act like its going to and just doesnt turn over to a full start?it may be the ignition switch?if there is a ck.eng.lite on,u can hook up a tester to the computer's connection, and it will tell u what the code is ,then look up the code in the auto manual,to find the reason and the explanation for the code, and the hopeful solution to it.i know thats alot of info.to think about.maybe it helped ?
