My 2007 headlights wont turn on

It is hard to say without checking your headlamp electrical circuits, but it sounds like you may have possibly installed the wrong bulb or installed it incorrectly and possibly blew a fuse.

Hello,

To replace the headlight bulb of Your 2007 gmc yukon is not that difficult, please follow the steps below.
  1. Turn off the car,
  2. Remove the negative terminal head of the battery in order to avoid shock when working on the headlight,
  3. Pop hood open,
  4. Remove all and any self tapping screws along radiator area.
  5. You should be able to pull whole headlight housing area forward a few inches, you'll need this to see what you're doing.
  6. you have to cut through the rubber lining behind headlight.
  7. From there you can reach the bulb,
  8. Replace it with a new bulb,

How do I change the headlight bulb in my 2006 GMC Yukon Denali

There will be two steel arms about 1/8" round facing eatch other that are snapped into plastic retainers. If you turn the arm 90Deg (twords the front of headlight)and pull up on them the head light assemblie will come out giving you access to the bulbs.May have to squeeze and turn or just turn .Then you can disconect the wire harness.Just be sure when installing the new bulb not to touch it.I use a paper towl to handle the new bulb.If you get any oils from you hands on it this will cause a hot spot on the bulb and burn it out prematurely.Well hope this helped.

Replace headlamps 2007 GMC Yukon

It should be pretty easy, thats why there no "directions" Lift up the hood, now at the headlights there should be 2 rods, lift these rods and the lights should lift out, to access the bulbs.

Changing out the bulb in the driver's side

You need to handle the bulb by the base as much as you can. If you touch the glass, it will still work, and it will not harm you. It lessens the life of the bulb (they say). I have seen guys toss them to one another to install and it worked fine. I believe the bulb you will need is a H13. I hope this helps.
