Most new cars are this way , they are not owner serviceable, should never need servicing unless damaged or leaking

I can't locate where to check the transmission fluid, there's a cap on top of the ****** that says ****** fluid but there's not dip stick

I am at a bit of a loss. Not only do I not know what Saturn you have but this site edits words that should not be edited. (I don't know what a ****** or a ****** is)

Regardless of what Saturn or those words, most the automatics I see (German cars are oddballs)have a tube where the transmission is filled and the dip stick is inside that tube. (may have a red handle) Perhaps your dip stick broke off. Can you look into the tube and see anything? The dip stick is long enough and the tube is deep in the pan where the broke dip stick should not fall all the way into the pan.

I am replacing my factory air intake with a K&N kit on a 2010 Dodge Challenger 5.7l and haveing difficulties removing it from the fsctory intake tube. Is there atrick to this removal?

Some times the factory rubber tube gets "glued" to the intake plenum with coatings put on at the factory. If the clamp is loose enough then just use a small flat head screwdriver to gently pry the edges of the rubber hose and twist to break the seal.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 1998 c70

There isnt' one. Volvos are equipped with vent-box located underneath the intake manifold. Remove the oil dip stick tube and then the intake manifold and remove the box. Install a new breather box and make sure to clean the lines going to and from the box. If the breather box gets clogged, oil will push from the oil filler cap, dip stick tube and worst case, blow through the engine seals.

How do you check the transmission fluid when there is no dip stick attached to the cap

its probably broken off of the cap and still in the fill tube. If you cant fish it out from the top somehow, you can take the pan off the trans and it will be there sticking out of the fill tube. Get another cap and stick at a junk yard.

Hi: To Refill your Auto Transmission with Tranny Fluid, There is NO CAP, Look For a Dip Stick Similar to your Oil Dip Stick. You Refill your Transmission where the Transmission Dip Stick comes out of a Tube. You'll Need a Funnel that Fits inside the Transmission Dip Stick Tube. This Should Resolve your Question. Please Vote and That actually sends me How Well I have Helped You. Oil dip stick handle for Ford Focus ZX3 broke off. Rest of the dip stick still in the tube. How do I retrieve the remaining portion of the oil pan dip stick?

Drill small hole in what's left inside the tube - insert bolt extractor - pull out dip stick. Material is relatively soft so drilling is easy. Buy new dip stick.

Local mechanic says they can't check fluid level

"Sealed" means there's no dip stick tube.
The Explorers and Lincoln LS have this also.
It is nothing new and you can still change/flush the fluid as usual.
A special procedure is used to check the fluid level.
Not having the dip stick tube is one less place for dirt to get into the transmission.

there is no dip stick for the gearbox oil..there is a little rubber cover on a little tube sticking out of the gearbox housing. remove the rubber cap and fill through there.
