Question about 2007 Lincoln MKZ
Well, that is true, essentially due to computer controlled engine management system. This control system is what give MUCH longer engine life. Anything with fuel injection lasts TONS longer.
That being said, I still change my oil at 2,500 miles, it costs less than a shrink. I just feel better doing it that often.
You would be shocked at how long you could actually go between oil changes, I just do not reccomend that. To me the issue is additives and containments in the oil.
