Trying to take the flywheel off my PT Cruiser, and its something jam in there that looks like a screw thats broke off

1st have you looked under the hood may be the belt thats lose or broke maybe low on power steering fluid.if all looks good then it may be a pump problem.

Well, you probably broke it. When you see the oil light on, it's trying to tell you something. Something like "get me checked out and repaired or you'll kill me". The lights are not for your entertainment, they're for your education.

why on earth would you need a new tcm on a 2005!
you need to take your car to a dealer ,if there is a problem with the tcm they can reflash it ,your throwing your money and time away looking for all that other ****

like you said something broke. that is a great guess. open the hood and jack up the car. you may need to remove the center console to get at the shifter. you want to get under the car and check the shifter cable to the transmission and see if its broke there or disconnected from the linkage. if its not then follow it into the cab through the floor and follow to the shifter. the cable amy be about 6 feet long maybe shorter or longer depending how it i run around. if its not broke under neath its inside. should be a matter of inspecting and removing panels to get at it. check youtube for any videos on disassembly for panels. sometimes it can help. either that or pry and pull till you get it off. if you don't have rear wheel drive then just open the hood and look at the top of the trany and you should see the shifter there and might have to remove some stuff to get at it. they pack stuff in there tight

check the battery and make sure it has a fully charge,also check to make sure the start motor pinion is not jammed in the flywheel, and check the coil pack to make sure have spark.also check the crank sensor

look for the edges around the radio get a thin putty knife seperate the panel from the rest it should just pop out/ as you put the putty knife you will know where the push in retainers are again just pull out/ Please rate my response Thank you very much
