I would search the internet for it. That's the only advice I can give you for now. Also when searching put in Wiring Schematics instead of diagram.

With the wiring diagram for the stereo, there are two very similar looking yellows. How can I tell which is the power and which goes to a speaker?

Hi Anonymous:
Power supply wire is usually much heavier guage than speaker wire.
Power wire may have an in-line fuse.
Power wire may be paired with a black ground wire.
Power wire is commonly colored red.
Speakerwire is usually paired with a similar light guage wire and originates in a cluster of similar light guage wires.

Fuel Gauge does not work.....could it be a blown fuse and if so, my fuse box does not have a diagram to look for the proper fuse to check 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4 DR 6 Cyl. Owners Manual does not have...

The fuse usually runs the entire instrument cluster, they would not be guage specific, if your cluster fuse was blown then your hole cluster and other accessories would not be functioning. You can pull the fuses out one by one and inspect them, it should be pretty obvious if one is blown, I do not think this is your problem however.

The problem could also be in the cluster itself, if you pull the cluster out and inspect the circuit board check for burnt wire traces to the fuel guage, if you discover one you can fix this easily by resoldering the trace with a soldering iron and some solder, just be careful not to overheat the board. This condition can happen when an accesory gets shorted out and it burns the circuit trace on the board.

The only other thing that may be wrong is the sending unit for the fuel guage or a broken wire between the sending unit and guage. You can test the guage once you pull the cluster, if you ground out the guage it will show full, this will let you know the guage itself is ok. The sending unit is in the tank, I would check everything else before checking the sending unit as you will have to pull the tank to do that. It is not hard to pull the tank, I believe it is just held on by two straps and then you disconnect the wires and gas fill tube and return lines and the tank is down. Make sure if you drop the tank you get most of the gas out of it because gasolene is really heavy when you are lying on your back wrestling with a tank. Have a small hysdralic jack or floor jack handy and this can assist you in lowering and raising the tank.

The instrument cluster is not hard to take out to inspect, just start looking for screws in the area, you will have to take the trim pieces off and such, but it is not really a hard job and should only take about 45 minutes once you find all the screws. inspection of the circuit board won't take long either.

Instrument panel guages quit. Getting 'No Bus' error in odometer.

That wire needs to be hooked to the factory radio , part of the PCI bus - serial data communication network . I know on GM vehicles if the radio isn't hooked to the bus the vehicle will not start an run . Don't know if Dodge vehicles are that complex .

You mite call a aftermarket installer an ask or the dodge dealer

My guage cluster does not work on a 1994 dodge intrepid and we have replaced all fuses and relays and the guage cluster.

does the cluster light up when your headlights are switched on? if not then iinput cable behind the cluster may have come loose you will have to take the dash apart to get the instrument panel off and get to the input wire.   If it does light up then you may have a loose connection and or a PCM problem which is the cars computer have your obd II codes checked at autozone.
