If they are sealed bearings, you will need a press to get them out. If they are bolt in, just remove the brake pads/rotors, then the axle nut, then the bolts holding the wheel bearing in. Install in reverse order.

I need a free schematic of the rear brake assembly on a 2004 Ford Ranger. I fixed the brake cylendar but can't remember where one part goes

that is why you never remove both sides at the same time, that way if you forget something you can go look at the other side.

THIS IS FREE INFORMATION...FROM WF Pads Removal
  1. WARNING: Asbestos fiber dust may be present on brake and clutch assemblies and is hazardous to health if inhaled.

Brake and clutch assemblies should be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner recommended for use with asbestos fibers such as brake/clutch/service vacuum. The bag must be labeled per osha instructions, sealed, and the trash hauler notified as to the bag's contents.

If a vacuum suitable for asbestos is not available, cleaning should be done wet. If dust generation is still possible, technicians should wear government-approved toxic dust purifying respirators.

Grinding sound front wheel just replaced brakes last week need diagram for bearing parts

Suspect that a shim or spring/spacer on the brake pad is loose and scraping the rotor. Some shops do not check for proper pad installation...
Test to confirm that it is NOT a bearing, wet with a water hose - the entire rotor and brake assemble and drive for a minute or so. If sound is not present, it is NOT a bearing... but is a piece of the brake pad assemble rubbing inside or on the rotor.

1976 or 1978 ford windsor motor

are you replaceing the crankshaft as part of a performance rebuild? not necessarily a solution, but i recommend that you have your crank and other rotating assembly parts balanced by your machine shop. it is also critical that you check your clearances or you could damage the rotating assembly parts. i recommend purchasing a chilton's, or haynes manual. these manuals walk you through a teardown and rebuild procedure. my advice is not meant to be insultive to you because i dont know your mechanical skill level, but it would be a shame if your engine seized due to a bent rod/bearing failure because you did not check your clearances. good luck with your install
