The twenty amp maxi fuse in the under the hood fuse panel goes to, you guessed it, the fuel pump. It sounds to me like you have a short to ground in the wiring that keeps popping this fuse. Find and fix the short, or you will keep blowing fuses.

SOURCE: Hood on my 1999 Ford Mustang Gt Will not release and my Battery is dead.

try to have someone outside of that car and push down and pull up on the hood as you pull the lever..if the lever is broken off u can use a pair of pliers to pull the wires that pop the hood..you might have to strip off some of the black insulation good luck

SOURCE: Engine Removal for 1991 Mustang GT

first of all take and un plug all wires to engine then take out radiator then unplug all hoses jack the car up and unbolt the trans and starter make sure all fuel lines or off then unbolt the header pipes now you can take the motor sports lose (note what kind of trans do you have ) if it is a auto you got to take the tork converter lose and once you done all that you can take the hood off then hook chain to engine then start picking up with a hoist but slowly you may need to pull engine from trans as you pull up on the motor watch for any wires or hose that you may didnt see to unhook if you need any more help just let me know good luck and be careful .

SOURCE: ecm fuse keeps blowing

just fixed this problem, change your fuel pump module, fuel sending unit shorts out on fuel level swing arm blue wire... unfortinately you must replace it as unit because of the design, fuel pump and tank guage fuel level sending unit are a one peice item, fuel tank has to come out to change unit, about a $ 700.00 repair too... fuel pump module runs about 350 to 700 $ depending on aftermarket or factory, try to find one with a lifetime warranty even if it is $ 50.00 more worth it..labor is about $ 250 to $ 400 depending on shop labor rate... definate problem though I ahve no doubt, common problem on GM... please rate my help, thanks...

Where is the fuse located for power seat in 97 ford mustang gt

Most power seats use circuit breakers rather than fuses. These are small rectangular metal cans often in the main fuse block, but on some cars are under the seat with the relays. Get a shop manual.

You have blown a fuse in the fuse box area. Either under the dash driver side. In glove box or under the hood near the firewall or battery box

2006 ford mustang gt power supply or cig lighter does not work

First thing to do is check the fuses. I believe the fuse for "Power Point 1" (the one in the instrument panel) is in slot 61 and Power Point 2 (the one in the center console) is in slot 64 of the fuse box which under the hood. The fuse box is located just in front and above the passenger front tire and the cover pops off easily. Check your owners guide (pages 190-194) to find the location of the fuses. The fuses in slots 61 and 64 are 20amp and should be yellow. Pull the fuses with a fuse puller and check to see that the two melal legs are connected inside the clear plastic with a ~ looking bar, if the ~ is broken then the fuse is bad. Replace the fuse with a new one (very inexpensive) and test the power point. If that dosent solve your problem then there may be something wrong with your cars electronics, consult a professional.

30amp aux fuse blown 20 amp brake/hazz and 20amp turn blown 30amp brake blown i'm thinking bare spot in wireing someware what do you think?

that is a lot of blown fuses, start with grounds engine to batt and engine to body, then battery main to starter, i have a suspicion that when you crank the truck the voltage is being routed into the body and light circuits

97 sho, my headlights wont come on and my parking lights wont go off??? replaced multi-function switch and the headlight switch

With my 98 Taurus with the same problem, simply replacing the fuse solved both problems. The fuse is under the hood - it was the small 30amp on the toward the engine side under the relays.
