Problem started with a small vibration on the front of the engine thot it was the fanthe noise would later worsen off everytime i step on the the gears sometimes wont shift.

Could be several issues.
1. the two piece main crank pulley could be separating: replace it.
2. The transmission could be loose: check the four bolts that secure it to the engine. A loose transmission causes lots of vibration and hard changes because the main shaft misalignment,.Sometimes transmission bolts actually vibrate out.
3. The clutch is failing and will need to be replaced.

Very loud Clacking noise under valve cover ,car still runs what is it and will it blow up?

It sounds to me that your valve may have collapsed or you have a bad can bearing... Or a bad lifter...either way its a pretty bad problem.put some Lucas oil in there if nothing changes don't drive the car have a micanic look at it

Loud Vibration / Sound Under Acceleration And Starting Engine.

Get the engine mounts checked. A bad mount may allow part of the engine to lie on a body or frame part, allowing engine vibrations to become very loud. Torquing of the engine (under load) can cause the same type problems.

The engine makes a loud noise when the car is running its cumming from the exhaust

I'm sorry for your dilemma, I would hate to give an answer, without a few questions. Is it the engine itself that actually gets louder, or the exhaust is where it's sounding louder? what kind of shape does the exhaust appear to be in? Being an older car, assuming with a lot of miles, there are certain things that could pertain to this...What kind of noise? Is it a rattling? An old heat plate could be the culprit, My first thought was if it reverberates back to the engine, it could be the catalytic comb has failed and broken apart to sift into the exhaust to cause blockage and emit noise from both ends, obviously from vibration noises and restrictive back exhaust. Is there a lack - feeling of power?

Car vibrating while idling

Sounds like it is missing badly and would not be so noticeable when running. Have you had it tuned up lately? Could be wires and plugs need replacing. Also if you have a lot of miles on the engine the compression in the cylinders may be low. Two possibilities.

2003 Jetta TDI vibrates above 35 speed

With 180k I would change the engine mounts. They are about the only thing that would dampen engine vibration and noise (assuming that the engine is running ok). There is likely one or all weak or broken. Normally when you have a vibration at speed then it is going to be driveline or wheel balance.

Vibration Dampener Removal

Before your suspects the engine dampener, pls try to see the propeller shaft. maybe it knocks on your under chassis frame. If ever propeller shaft is not the cause that's the time that you have to check the dampener.

You can remove the dampener when you're under your car. Damperners placed in-between the Flywheel and Propeller Shaft flanged. A 3 or 4 bolts must be removed.

check the dampener for wears, if the rubber dampeners shows no wears, It was only misaligned.

hope this could help.
