Yeah, in my Megane I just replace the one that's failed (once I've figured out which one it is). I think I saw somewhere that you should replace them in pairs, but I've never done that.

Bad ignition control module act

same car as one of mine.
so you change coil packs before spark plugs?
i have the full fsm too, /.7000 pages long..... im scanning now.
you do know this is a wasted spark system so both side can fail, right.
coil pack 1.side runs 2 cylinders. not one.
both spark plugs connected to #1 coil are suspect.
they do not say how the the test is conducted (inane that)
only the useless Burn time , bull.
most times only the possible cause list is a clue to the test.

verbatim. page 4204
MONITOR CONDITIONS
When Monitored:
Engine running and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.
SET CONDITIONS
Set Condition:
If PCM detects that the secondary ignition burn time is incorrect, too short, or not present, an error is
detected. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
(F342) ASD OUTPUT CIRCUIT
(K19) COIL CONTROL 1 CIRCUIT OPEN
(K19) COIL CONTROL 1 CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
COIL
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
, then a list of tests to do. in the FSM , get one.

my wild guess is the PCM ,charges the coil for DWELL time
then monitors both the low and the high signals.
if the signal is stuck low, or high this sets.
coil primary.
i think they mean coil charging fails....

Check Injector on Renault Megane

You don't say if the car is misfiring, but that's what it sounds like to me, could be a possible ignition coil faulty are heads of the ignition coils Gray if so then probably yes, A way to diagnose the problem, unscrew all 4 bolts from the coils now start engine with the engine running slowly lift up the first coil if engine starts misfiring or stalls coil is ok, if not replace faulty coil check all coils in the same manner.

(You may have to lift up the engine cover to find the coils)

I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid ---- It is showing 3 error codes/ P0300 - Engine Miss fire Detected : P0356 Ignition Coil 6 Control Circuit: P0132 - Ho2s circuit low voltage bank, sensor 1...

ok means that you dont have spark plug explotion on 1 or more cylinders and that means miss fire.

Disconnect the battery like 20 or 30 min and then connect the battery again and start the car, then drive and scan again, if you have same code you can do this:

1. take off your O2 sensor and test check if there is wrong change it because maybe that is the problem of all!

2. take off your spark plugs and put new ones.

if not work... do this.

reset your ecu (like I say before)
take your ignition coil #6 and change the place with another one on the same head side.

assambly and go to test if the DTC change like hummm example: Ignition coil #4 then or any other, then you know that the problem is your ignition coil.

if not work this... do this..

take off your ignition coil from the spark plug but still plug to the harnes (the ignition that is failing) and then take the ignition coil closer to Ground (another metal) and then start the car you need to see how the elctricity (not know how to say) "energy" jumps from the coil to the graund many times

if not are any energy jump you need to do this...

check the harnes like maybe that is the problem the question here is do you have voltage in the harness?

hope this help you.

Sounds like a weak ignition component, change the spark plug wires and cap and rotor if not already done, there is also an outside chance the ignition module located inside the distributor could be failing.
