I seriously recomend that you buy a rebuilt unit because the older german fuel distibutors are very are very touchy to non- surgical techniques and experience, you may futher increase your problems...

89 300E, sitting for 2 years, getting fuel to fuel distributor, but not to injectors. How does the fuel distributor work? and how can I test it?

The fuel distributor is mostly mechanical. It does however require a few signals from a small computer for idle speed and mixture adjustment.. I would look close for broken/chewed wires. Does the air flow meter move freely? Thats the large plate right in the middle of the distributor.

How to remove a dashboard of a mercedez-benz 300e 1993

The book labor time calls for 11 hrs to complete this. You can only imagine how difficult it would be to describe 11 hours worth of work on this dialog box. I have the procedure but it is very very long.

Dont pick up gas to throttlebody mercedes 300e 1988

Check fuel pumps to make sure it/they are running. Make sure you install a new fuel filter which is right by the fuel pump passenger rear under the car. Fuel pressure regulator in the engine compartment is the next step. But with the age of the vehicle its probably the fuel distributor.

My mercedes 1991 300E 2.6 must need the fuel filter replaced, What tools are necessary to remove it?

Its a canister type filter, a couple of combination wrenches should be used to remove it. I would look at your fuel pressure regulator and fuel distributor and make sure the fuel pumps run.

While in park 1988 mercedez benz 190e idles rough and sometimes

This is an interesting part, and I spent quite some time to fix the problem. I list it here those steps in the order could fix the problem ranging from least expensive to most expensive steps. It just happened to me the last one really eliminated the problem. 1- Make sure it gets turned up first. 2- Adjust cables to increase idle. There are two cables. You remove the air filter to see them clearly. a- one for the gas, the other for transmission. b- clean the area well so you can see a micro switch. This switch called cut off switch. c- whatever adjustment you make, the level of the switch has to press on the switch to maintain the idle. If you see it off, you can bend the metal part to keep it in place 3- Take off the Fuel distributor to clean the throttle below it. 4- Replace all the injectors. These are not Electronic Fuel Injectors so you don't have to deal with Injector module. 5- Replace the fuel distributors. Good luck.
