Push the button at the end of the gear shift handle the light will go out. Just means that your not in over drive when crusing. Some cars have a 5th or 6th gear to save on gas while crusing. The light should be in the off position 99% of the time

The vast majority of vehicles that have 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive will only light up something on the dash when in 4 wheel drive.(They also light up 4 wheel drive low if you have it) I've been driving 4 wheel drives for 25 years and have yet to see one that lights up something for 2 wheel drive.
NO--- you cannot drive with out brake lights
The penalty will be the local or state fine
The real penalty will be a rear ender that occurs because of no brake lights where you loose insurance because you have been driving an un-road worthy vehicle
Okay those lights are called your driving lights. they only come on during the day, when headlights are off, they are for safety. i know this would drive me crazy, a customer would come in and say i have a light out and i would check and all was fine. the way it works is during the day, headlights off and truck must be in drive,
you will need some one inside holding the brake and put in drive with headlights off for you to see them and see if they need bulbs. let me know the outcome .good day
You should not drive a car if the check engine light comes on and you do not know what the problem is. In some cases the check engine light means a serious problem and I know could cost a lot of money to repair. Mine came on and cost $800 dollars to repair as I tried to drive it.
if you hook the driving lights to the low beam circuit you will be in breach of traffic regulations the regulation reads that driving lights can only be operated with high beams and on selection of low beam , the lights have to go out
added to that is the clause --the driving lights most be extinguishable when on high beam by the use of a separate isolation switch
now the circuit is really simple
you place a relay for each driving light in a suitable place
you run a fused wire from the battery to the relay and then to each light
to make those relays work you connect a wire from the existing high beam relays connections(m piggy back or like connection) so that when on high beam the trigger power that puts the headlights on also triggers the driving light relays
Now to meet regulations you run ground wires for the driving lights back to a switch in the cabin then to ground
One of my driving lights went out after hitting a bump on a dirt road, how do I replace the bulb? It's not the headlight, it's the driving light or fog light.
