It sounds like a problem with the fuel gauge sender unit in the fuel tank which has worn out and gone open circuit and needs replacing. Access to the unit is usually through a removable plate in the floor in the rear of the vehicle. Disconnect the wiring connector and any hoses and then remove the securing screws. Replacement is done by reversing procedure.

The fuel gauge consists of a sending unit, located on the fuel tank, and a remote register unit (fuel gauge) mounted in the instrument cluster. The remote register unit pointer is controlled by a bimetallic arm and heating coil. The sending unit is a rheostat that varies its resistance depending on the amount of fuel in the tank.
The gauge has 5 things that can go wrong to make it inoperative or erratic.

Loose or broken wire from the 1" constant voltage regulator to the fuel gauge.
2. Defective fuel gauge.
3. Loose or broken wire from the fuel gauge to the fuel tank sending unit.
4. Defective fuel tank sending unit.
5.Poor ground between the fuel tank and body.

SOURCE: 2001 Buick lesabre gas guage not working, heated seats not workin

I have a 2001 and just replaced the fuel pump assembly in the tank because the fuel gauge didn't work or worked irratic. After talking to the partsman it sounded like this was common. The contact for the sensor wears away and looses contact. You will see that the new fuel pump module has different type of metal wiper contact. As for the heated seats, I have an issue with driver side also and haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

My 2006 impala gas guauge doesnt work change fuel pump and still doesnt work

You have to change the whole sending unit to get the gas guage to work. If you did that then its either the wiring or the guage itself.

Where can I find a fuse for the gas gage on a 2004 Chrysler T&C

The gas guage does not have its own fuse but instead gets its power from the "integrated power module" that handles power delivery to the entire instrament cluster and beyond. If the guage is in-op,[doesnt work] then you will need to have a few "hands-on tests run to verify if the sending unit in the tank[fuel pump module] is functional or if this problem lyes else-where, wiring problem, bad ground,ect,ect.. One hint would be if the low fuel level l;ight still functions without the fuel guage working, then your problem is NOT in the tank and very likely is in your dash-electrical or faulty guage.

The sending unit in the gas tank might be bad. Have to drop gas tank to get at it.

Gas gauge is wrong

It is likely that its the sending unit in the tank. One way to determine if its the guage or the sending unit is to ground the wire from the guage and it should peg out. If it doesnt then its the guage if it does then its the sending unit.

Gas Guage

Sounds like a faulty sending unit... or a loose/ damaged wire.
The gas doesnt touch the unit, so the gas is not the problem... only coincedence.
