You probably got something wet, or you may have knocked something loose (especially if you poser-washed it). Let it sit for 24 hours to dry out, then try starting it again. If it still doesn't start, you probably broke something, and its time to start trying to figure out what.

Why does fuel appears on the spark plug?

No fire to that plug , could be coil wire or plug itself,,or Bad fuel injector, or computer that runs the fuel injectors,, or if is throttle body pinched wire under breather or bad control module,, and if its carbruated float stuck needs rebuilt,, check make sure your getting fire to the plug first,, pull the wire off and put a xtra plug in the wire,,, make sure its touching metal for ground, crank the car see if it sparks,,,if it does its more than likely it is somthing stated above

Check for spark at the sparkplug, to see if everything in the dist. is working right. And check the injector harness for something being pulled loose when the wires were jerked out.

On my 99 Hyundai Elantra I might have gotten the plugs and wires wet.. Would this cause it to lose fire?

will the car not start? I have washed many engine compartments and never had any problems. you'r car has no distributor so water should at the most affect 1 or 2 plugs but it is unlikely

1988 toyota camry 2.0 turns over but won't start. Car has been driving like a champ and one morning wouldn't start. Turns over fine but won't fire. Tested for spark by removing spark plugs...

Fuel pressure at idle is normally 30-35psi. Start by taking the gas cap off, and putting it back on. That will De-pressurize the fuel system. Also, make sure you have gas in the car. I have seen gauges on these cars read wrong. I hope this helps.

Hi, i have a 1991 isuzu rodeo with a 3.1 v6 5sp 4x4 with tbi. It starts ok when its cold and seems to run just fine however once its warmed up if you shut it down it wont restart. this was a sudden thing....

You might want to check the coil after the engine has wormed up to see if it is breaking down and not fireing the spark plugs. Use an in line spark tester to check between the coil and the spark plug wires to see if it is firing the plugs after the engine has gotten worm. Have someone to turn the engine over while you watch the tester for fire. Hope this will help you.

2001 Buick LeSabre, 175,000 + miles. Won't start after it rains. Turns over fine, good battery. Has happened 4 times last three months. Local mechanic said likely fuel filter or fuel pump. Have gotten it...

Your cars problem lays into the electrical system only. Wetness is causing a short. When you turn the key on and off for so many times the connections to the battery and starter get warmer each time in turn dries out the connections the contact is made so it will start.
If the car will not start at all when wet the plug wires would be at fault. Yours does start as you state so the wires are fine so far. I would check the connections of all wiring to the starter, battery, & alternator making sure they are corrosion free and tight

1994 honda accord will start fine for weeks then all of a sudden won t start but if i turn on the key put it in gear an pop the clutch it will start but sometimes it will start ok sometimes it won,t

Hi,from the clues you give I guess that the starter motor is in need of a service (worn brush gear) I presume that when it does not start that the engine does not make a cranking noise.
If the engine is cranking but failing to fire up, then it could be anything from the fuel pressure pump to the engine control system. there is a lot of clever stuff going on when you start your engine. Some simple things you should try first. Check visually that all vacuum hoses and wiring is secure and in good visual order( dodgy looking wires are prone to intermittent failure!... Do this next time it fails to start and recheck after gently adjusting ? wd 40 may ease problem temp. Also check service of spark plugs especially correct gap.
Make a note of engine temp/ and air temp. loose wires are usually more loose in cold mornings!.. starting enrichment may not be sufficient with a wide plug gap. Check battery for full power output on starting. will it pull the car on the starter /
