If you have PATS (glass pellet inside your key) system, ECU has been programmed for the key to your ignition. Is security light blinking rapidly? This is more likely something you missed in the swap, like maybe a ground wire, etc. I assume the 95 engine was running before the swap, right? Check voltage at coils and maybe trace backward. maybe the ignition relay or a fusible link?

No but you may need to put the sensers from the other motor on your new one. The most likly reason that it has no spark is youv'e yet to connect somthing. or in your haste to get it done you pinched some wires between the engine and the transmission ( common ) Look it over good and you may happen on the failure and as it's corrected you'l ( get-r-done)

Are you saying it won't crank or won't start ?
If it won't start, are you getting spark to the plugs and fuel to the injectors ?
Does it sound like the engine has normal compression ?

96 chevy blazer turns over but wont start

It needs at least 60psi fuel pressue to start. You need to check fuel pressure with a gauge.
If the dist cap or rotor is bad, the spark will not be on the right plug at the right time. Same goes for a faulty distributor or a problem with the timing chain. And the ignition module.
Also check the ecm for trouble codes.

Need stock maintenance schedule for 96 ford mustang 3.8ltr.?

At 100,000 miles u need to replace the spark plugs and check/inspect the rest of the ignition components and repalce as needed, in most cases everything will be fine, change interval for air filter and fuel filter is every 30,000 miles, the transmission (auto only) should have a fluid and filter change at 60,000, also the brakes should be inspected 20,000-30,000 miles depending on how you drive and where u drive (city, hiway etc.).

Wont start

Ignore the code for now. Start with the basics. You need to check fuel pressure. You need to check for spark at more than one cylinder. Must be blue and powerful. Make sure the vehicle can get air into the engine. report back with these answers.

96 probe

Pull the CPS Plug apart and clean that.
It's the grey one near the cambelt end and leads down to the crankshaft pully.
