Did you try calling the service department at your local Honda dealership? They will give it to you for free. Sometimes they want you to come in and show proof of ownership. These codes are to keep people from stealing the stereos.

You can get the code for free at the Honda Owner's Link. Go here https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=%2Fprod%5Fhome%2Easp and click Register Today at the bottom left. Once you register your Honda all you need is the VIN # off the car and Serial # off the radio which I see you already have. You will not have to pay one cent unlike all the other sites that ask you to pay for the code.

I thought you wanted to know how to get the code for free. If you had followed my instructions on the link I provided you would now have the code and be listening to music. No one is going to post the code for you on here. The people that have access to the codes have their own web site where they will charge you way more than I am getting. Of course you could have gotten this link on your own, but you didn't. If you had know about the Honda Owner's Link you would never have come here in the first place with this question. I spent my time getting you the link and telling you how to get your code absolutely free. The code is right there for you if you simply go to the link I provided and sign up. You do not need the owner's manual to get the code, but at the link I provided you can also download the owner's manual. I understand you do not want to pay to get the code, but you already have when you came here and ask this premium question. You paid for the code and I have told you how to get it for free. What more can I do?

Radio code is specific for each and every car. It is specific like anti theft code.

You can get it by providing your VIN# and registration details in authorized dealership.
Nobody else can provide you. If anybody can provide you that , then there is no meaning of security for your car.

We cannot take your vin# and get the code as it is illegal. Any authorized dealer will ask for the registration papers.

Show up at your Honda parts counter and have your registration or other document with the VIN on it. and ask them for the code they should'nt charge any and they may even help you enter it and make sure the radio works they want you happy with your car as they hope you'll buy another one. I can't get into Honda's data base. but thier not mad at their owners and they'll be glad to help you. they might even do it on the phone.

All you have to do is go to the parts dept. Not the service dept and prove the car is yours The title the registration or the insurance card or just all a different dealer if yours is bad to deal with as this is'nt restricted information to the person that owns the car. Get your car repair buddy to call as they will like him and know him and all he has to say is he disconnected the battery and needs to turn the radio back on before he gives the car back to his costomer. If this doesn't work i'll call my dealer in the morning with your VIN and get it for you it's only hard if the radio is'nt the one that came with the car

All you have to be is the current owner they don't care as long as you didn't steal it.

Code for radio/cd honda civic 2003

Try to locate the unique code number that will unlock the theft-protected audio system on your 2003 Honda Civic. It probably was imprinted on an anti-theft identification card that you should have received when you acquired the car. The code was printed on a document that came with your owner's manual packet

If you do not have the code, you will need to track down the audio system's serial number. In the case of the 2003 Honda Civic, finding the serial number may require seeking assistance from a Honda dealer. The dealer should be able to determine the audio system's special code number so you can reset the radio. With some newer Honda Civic models, the serial number can be retrieved electronically from the radio.

If you are able to locate the serial number of your 2003 Honda Civic's audio system without a dealer's assistance, you can obtain the special code by going online to the Honda Web site. You must first provide specific information to prove you own the car. For instance, you will need the Civic's vehicle identification number, or VIN, and the audio system's serial number.

When you know what the audio system's special code number is, use the preset buttons on the car radio to punch in the digits. This should reset the audio system, enabling you to resume using the radio and the CD player.

Code for radio for honda civic 2003

Hi:
The only way to get the radio code is from your Honda dealer. THis is an anti-theft issue, and you must have your VIN number to get the code. Often it is written down in the cover of your owner's manual too!
