Question about 1988 Porsche 911

1 Answer

1988 Porsche 911 6 cyl Manual \r\n This morning on my way to work my car hesitated then loss power and stopped. I waited 5 minutes and it started back up. I pressed the gas and noticed a surge of power then a little hesitation but it kept running at idle speed. I drove the car gingerly to a mechanic shop and they have not been able to give a reason for it stopping. Any ideas? Thanks - Gary

Hi Protein,
Your best course of action would be to have a scan carried out. I believe the problem is either to do with the crank or cam shaft sensors.

Found these on ebay-I hope this is what you are looking for. One says it's the 911, but I think when I checked its closer it was actually a 944, the other seemed to be the correct one. I hope so.
