SOURCE: 1989 suzuki samurai won't fire

TUNE UP in last 30k?
on this motor the ECU can cut fuel for many reasons.
or spark.

check spark first, it ok.
try test fuel
if it starts and runs it was flooded , if it runs and stops
see if busy right foot. can keep motor going.
now if test fuel starts car and it dies,
and you are sure its fuel starvation.
then check fuel pressure .
on the 8v you can look at the injector and see it inject cranking.
it it is not .
listen for fuel pump buzz fuel cap removed.
key on runs the pump for only 3 seconds. so you need a helper.

no buzz ,pump is dead, wire bad or the ground behind left rear tail light is out.
see no start

3: bad fueling. try test fuel

1988 toyota camry 2.0 turns over but won't start. Car has been driving like a champ and one morning wouldn't start. Turns over fine but won't fire. Tested for spark by removing spark plugs...

Fuel pressure at idle is normally 30-35psi. Start by taking the gas cap off, and putting it back on. That will De-pressurize the fuel system. Also, make sure you have gas in the car. I have seen gauges on these cars read wrong. I hope this helps.

I replaced the battery the 98 ford expedition still won't start it will crank but will not turn over

If it is fuel injected check for fuel pressure at the fuel rails. If it has a carburetor then try pouring a little gas in the carburetor and see if it will start. If you have no pressure at the fuel rails or the motor starts after adding fuel directly then the problem is the fuel pump.

My starter will not turn over the motor but the motor will turn over by hand on a 1990 suzuki samuria

possibly dead battery, starter motor or the solenoid switch on the side of the starter, test your battery for a charge if its got juice then theres something wrong with your starter you may need new coils and a solenoid or a completely new one

I have a 1990 suzuki samurai, engine turns over but no sdpark. changed coil and ignition module. still no spark. what next?

Try checking the contacts between the rotor button and the distributor cap, particularly the center contact to the coil. Hopefully your problem is there because 1990 and later samurais were fuel injected and notorious for faulty ecm's and if I remember correctly it can be close to $1000 for a new one and $200+ for a repair job.

1989 suzuki samurai won't fire has a 1990 Geo tracker motor fuel injected 1.6 8 vaulve.

Check if you are getting spark in your plugs. if there's a spark, check the fuel pressure.Your pump might not be delivering the required pressure and volume.
If there's no spark, check your ignition system components.
