the ignition switch may need to be replaced. im not sure if a lock smith can replace the ignition switch, call around to see if they can.

bad tumbler..usually from to heavy of key ring...i know this sounds silly, but try wiggling the key maybe for a while and it will come out by chance..i have done it before..takes alot of patience but if you have time try it....hope this helps......it may take a while...

SOURCE: Stuck ignition key
You will need to remove the lock cylinder and take it to a qualified locksmith. Access the cylinder by removing the trim panels on the steering column. After you remove the bolts securing the cylinder, there is push-tab on the underside of the cylinder that must be depressed with a small screwdriver to remove the cylinder.
