The resistor I think you are looking for is on the drivers side fender back near the master cylinder. Not positive but I think it runs off the asd or fuel pump relay. I may correct myself later if I can find the diagram and I'm wrong.

Relay is in the power distribution center near the battery. It gets power from the fuel pump relay .
(resistor is a white rectangular ceramic block with a wire connected to each end)

did you change sending unit? that is what sends the signal of amount of fuel. if so then your gauge motor is worn. get a new cluster from wreckers. check all wiring for bad grounds

Ok we were having problems getting fuel so we replaced the fuel pump and filter and relay and fuel pump is not gettin power, we also replaced the ballast resistor but it still wont turn on and still no...

Might be that your ecu is in need of repair. Does your check engine light come on, on the dash, with the ignition turned on? If it does not, it's the ecu that is in need of repair.

NO POWER TO FUEL PUMP , RELAY IS OK, FUSES TEST OK.HOPING FOR SOMETHING SHORT OF A BROKEN WIRE IN LOOM.

Check for continuity between the relay terminal and the pump. You may have a bad connection between the wire and the connector itself at either end...that is more common than a broken wire. Some also use a ballast resistor in the pump circuit which should be on the drivers side fender in the engine bay back near the master cylinder.

1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo starting problems

Check to see if the fuel pump is running after it shuts down...could be a relay or the pump itself (overheating internally) Checked the fuel filter yet? Some crank sensors need to be shimmed. If it's too close to the flywheel even though you recently changed it, if it's too close to the wheel it can fail again. May not be the case but worth checking over. Also check the ceramic resistor on the left fender near the master cylinder if you have one. That too can cause problems.

Finding the relay for electric fan on '89 jeep cherokee laredo 4.0

It is on the driver fender near air filter housing. Also next to the fuel pump ballast resistor. It is the white 3 inch long piece of ceramic on the fender with eletricial connectors on each end.
