Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
The black fuse box under the hood to the left of the supercharger the positive conection on top of it gets.loose and you will loose.all power make sure it is making contact

The first thing i would look at is the fuel pump, make sure your getting fuel preasure, another thing is to scan the computer for any stored codes, these codes will tell you what part of the system is failing, these had alot of problems with the ignition switch, but would not make the car die out, it would just get it from starting,if this is a problem then there will be a code for the anti theft ignition system. start with fuel preasure.
