Just picking this car up with 118,000. First is the gas mileage. Only getting around 15-17 mpg. Besides spark plugs wondering what normal rpm's should be for a 3.5 V6.

The 3.5 is a great engine and in the Concorde pretty efficient for sure over 20 MPG. The 3.5 HO is 1st generation and has a 10.4 to 1 comp ratio. 89 octane is required later engines after 1998 had the compression ration lowered to 9.9 to 1 and 87 might be acceptable. Scheduled spark-plug change is usually 60K miles. If plugs have not been changed than I would certainty start with them. Check tire pressure against the driver door recommended. I expect if all else is well that at 60 MPH just under 2000 RPM in over drive and smooth..

This engine was built in Chrysler's Trenton engine plant in MI and is considered one of the best power planets at the time.

Car chugs while accelerating. changed spark plugs and wires, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pump could this be a bad coil pack

Yes it could , try having the computer scanned for any codes and see if theres a misfire code, if it where a coil there should be a misfire code with the cylinder thats missing then you will know which coil it is, also the fuelpump is pushing enogh preasure? low preasure would cause this also. try the codes first, autozone parts store scans for free. hope this helps.

Ford focus 1.6 zitec petrol, engine warning light flashing, engine chugging, very high fuel consumption, fumes smell when stationary, exhaust seems ok, recently change speed sensor and coil pack?

try the air filter first and the intake.the spark plugs then and after all go to a garage for checking compression timing and the head gasket.

I have a 2002 2.4 lt Mazda MPV sports and when your driving the car seems to have a little miss. It seems to be the worse when your cruising around the 80kms its like a misfire or something, its hard to...

missing would show itself at low engine speeds.bad starting.or heavy load (going up steep hills)a miss at high speed would not be felt (normally)without other symptoms(lack of power etc)have you tried using higher octane fuel......mazda rec 92+ octane...

Engine is missing when in 4th-5th gear

try having the fuel filter changed first and have the timing checked and I don't know how many miles on the truck but check low or uneven cylinder compression pressure remove spark plugs and test the compression with a gauge but before doing all this it could be a weak or faulty ignition system

Power loss / low idle speed

This could be a multitude of things but my first suggestion would be to change the spark plugs. They are cheap and can be bought at any auto parts store.

Missing or chugging

If it's throwing a code, have it scanned. Sounds like the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) or the Throttle positioning sensor, (TPS) Could aslo be a dirty O2 sensor. Scanning will tell.
