Is it normal for all of these gaskets to just wear out like that? Should I have a mechanic do it? Or can some one point me in the right direction.

For a vehicle that old i would imagine allot of the gaskets are starting to dry rott and cruble inbetween . If you are pretty good with a wrench and have time i would say fix it yourself. But if that is your only means of transportation and you need a quick fix i would recommend a profesional repair man.Sometimes if you check the services part of craigslist and click on autoservices you can find a mechanic who makes house calls. Just tell him you will supply all materials because people who by the parts will mark them up because of having to take the time and effort to pick up the parts. If you have the time i would watch him do it so you will no how for future ref. And never pay anyone until job is done. Never give someone the money to go get the parts you may never see them again. some people make a living scaming unsuspecting people.

Antifreeze leaking between manifold and head rt. side 460 engine

You blew a head gasket. Remove the head and see if you can see where the gasket failed, have the head shaved and replace gaskets.

My blazer started this morning but was leaking antifreeze on the ground. I don't think its the water pump. could it be the intake manafold gasket? it seems to be leaking at the front of the intake.

It would either be the intake gasket, thermostat housing gasket, upper hose at the thermostat housing,or the heater hose that enters the intake.

87 camry won't run without hand over air intake. started by dieing then running some then dieing and not restarting without blocking air

You have a significent vacuum leak at the engine.
I would suspect a leaking intake manifold gasket.

A flush is in order. The "chunky" coolent/antifreeze is a result of rust being picked up, usually from the radiator. At some point, it will damage the water pump so I'd flush the system. All the best!

Leaking Antifreeze

Are you getting water in the oil?
Are you burning white smoke?

Depending on the moter size, it could be an intake gasket leaking as well.

2.0 has thermostat mounted to head and hose to Radiator, 2.4 has thermostat below radiator cap.

Best thing to do is have Radiator pressure test done and see where the leak is for sure. There are dyes that you can add to the radiator and you can see leaks with UV light.
