P0440 is a failure in the evaporative system, could be a hole in lines or a bad gas cap. screw cap on tighter to see if this may be your problem. the vent in the cap may not be letting pressure out, so loosen it to see. 02 sensor is a different code. have vehicle scanned to find codes. 02 sensor, egr, are part of the emission system etc. have a good day!!

here are some solutions to your codes and possible causes, maybe you have seen these pages already. when you say the converters are punched out, does that mean there are holes in them? a scan tool does not cause trouble codes, it detects them.

Code 332 what exactley is the problem also 181 189

116 = engine coolant sensor out of range
172 = Right O2 sensor stuck on lean
176 = Left O2 sensor stuck on lean
181 & 189 = fuel system lean
332 = EGR valve not responding correctly
I would recommend you have the codes cleared and see how many come back a second time, then troubleshoot those.
Since the O2 sensors are working, it could be a vac leak or low fuel pressure among other things.

06 pt crusier replaced both o2 sensor and still getting p0171 could it be issue with after market o2 sensor both are bosh

the fact that you replaced the sensor and the same code is there means the sensor is functioning ok, you have another problem, code readers just tell you what caused the mil light to go on, not the problem, for that you have to scan the engine on a reader and get readings from sensors and actuators, it could be a plug, vacuum leak egr malfunction, injector malfunctioon to name a few, do yourself a favor and get the engine analysed

This is usually an oxygen sensor, replace the O2 sensor located above the catalytic converter before replacing the evaporator purge canister.

MIL on

Actually the PO139 is Downstream O2 sensor slow to respond, And PO400 is EGR flow malfunction. But any why it sounds like the problem is in the exhaust system. I would start by checking the EGR valve first. Make sure the vacuum is operating it properly. If it is not that would make the O2 sensor slow to read or give the emissions system problems with oxygen readings. Good luck and have a good day.

Emission problem o2 sensor/egr valve?

Codes do not tell you what is wrong. They only tell you if there is a problem with a specific system/circuit.
From the information you have given it sounds like you might have a problem with the EGR valve which is causing the O2 sensor codes. There is no way to tell for sure but this is probably the most likely cause of your problem.

Here is a website that has a lot more information along with videos about how different sensors work:
