Power steering fluid has no set replacement mileage but as a tech with 45 years of field experience i recommend every 60,000 miles, I use a suction gun ans **** the fluid out of the tank. This will extend the lift of the steering rack

At what mileage should i have a 2004 suzuki verona transmission fluid flushed and changed? it currently has 46,000 miles on it.

ALL VEHICLES---- get their transmissions & power steering
changed,NOT FLUSHED every 30,000 miles ALWAYS

Flushing will cause problems
Do not flush --- no reason to

Replacing all the fluid, will sometimes put
a problem in, that was not there before

I have a 2000 SL-1. Is there a mileage at which time I replace power steering fluid and/or brake fluid?

10 years is long enough but the service manual wants you to change the brake fluild everytime the brakes are worked on ( new front pads.) As the trama of the brake failing adds extra heat and the fliuild needs to be changed as it's damaged. the power steering fluild as well it should be changed every couple of yearsand mileage is'nt as important as time. If it smellsw bad or looks bad change it. One of my customers cars gets nosy and we change the fluild and it's fine but we end up having to do it every few months.

What do you recommend to do for PM on my 2004 Envoy now that it reached 100,000 miles?

I'm guessing PM means Preventive Maintenance.
I would at least get the timing chain/belt replaced.
If this hasn't been done before: Brake fluid, Steering fluid, Transmission fluid, and Radiator Coolant. Just like any fluids, it's breaks down over time and mileage by turning dark.

Belts and hoses would be a visually inspection.

Power steering fluid leaking. Had rack replaced, leaking stopped. After a week started leaking again. Resevoir is low after filling with Dexron III. 2001 Hyundai Sonata V6 manual transmission.

Year and mileage? Keep the fluid level up so you don't damage the power steering pump, and return to the garage that serviced it. This sounds like something wasn't tightened properly, and they should correct the problem. It is possible that a power steering hose or the pump itself developed a leak, but, it is most likely something that wasn't tightened properly. That's the best diagnosis that can be given w/out actually being able to see the vehicle.

Noisy Power Steering Pump

I doubt it is the fluid. I would guess more likely that the pump is going bad. If it is making a whining sould all the time or when steering at a stop, the pump is beginning to fail.

Elantra Steering Wheel Noise

Check and make sure that your power steering fluid is topped off. Could possibly problems with your power steering pump. Mine does the same and the fluid is full. I just keep an eye/ear on it. If it continues to get worse than it could be the pump going out. If the fluid is allowed to get too low, it could possibly get air in it affecting both the "feel" of the steering and making a noise.
