This morning I had to crank the eng up about 5 times. It runs a bit and stalls. In the highway it runs like a champ.

Try changing your fuel filter...if it's dirty it will give symptoms identical to yours if thats not it, try changing your oil sender switch...it's located driver's side front right it looks a little like a small fuel filter ..one end screws directly into your engine, the top end connects to ONE wire. If the switch is bad , it will shut the fuel pump off "thinking" it has low oil pressure. While you are at it check your oil level. The oil pressure gauge that looks great on the dash ... is unfortunately only good for looks ... when the car is on ... it reads normal but it will also read normal if you dont have good pressure. you'll notice it doesnt move at all when you rev . your engine.

You and the other moron with the 87 mustang should confer, Then maybe the two of you would realize you have 2 peices of ****. Those cars ain't worth the little horsey emblem on front. JUNK THEM BOTH. Scrapyard will give you $200.00 for both.

Hey jeepbadass...Heres a couple suggestions for you. 1. In the future, when you post something for all to see, might I suggest referring to a dictionary to ensure accurate spelling. 2. Another book that might come in handy for you is a Kelley Blue Book...so you can get your facts straight. So, go hop in your lame Jeep, ********, i mean...badass..idiot!

I have an 87 pontiac bonneville engine has a bit over 250k miles, and it runs rather well, however it will stall out at times, and for no appearant reason, sometimes when stopped at a light, sometimes when...

if you already replaced the fuel filter, it could be low fuel pressure to engine from a bad fuel pump. check the fuel pump relay first ! it could be getting hot and shutting down. check the fuse too. and run some good injecter cleaner in it, the injecters might be clogging up. good-day !
