Your control switch is bad. This is a bad problem with chevys. Even earlier year models had the same problems. I wouldnt get one new, call your local salvage yard and get a used one. Please rate answer accordingly!! Thank you

The blower fan only works on the high setting, #5 - what needs to be fixed, 2002 trailblazer

There is a blower resistor module by the blower motor that goes bad.You need to replace it.Also check the connector out very carefully because they get hot and like to melt.If it is melted then you will have to order a connector from the dealership. This will take care of your problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.

The blower on my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer was not working, I replaced the resistor and it worked on settings 1,2,4 &5. when I replaced the resistor I noticed that one of the leads was burned and the wire...

Yes the resistor is going to be hot to the touch, unless you run the blower on high which bypass the resistors to give the blowers a full 12 volts. You could try replacing the wire block and harness just to make sure there is no short in the system that is bleeding off and grounding.
Good luck and hope this helps.

The best I can tell you is, go to an auto parts store and get a haynes auto repair manual for that vehicle, it gives a step by step procedure on how to do it, About $16.00.

A/c blower issue. 2202 chevy trailblazer

your blower resistor bad or the blower motor control switch is bad. no air flow from top vent make sure vent open.because you can manual adjust them not to blow air on you.if all is have leaking vacuum hose or vacuum actuator.or air door stuck.the AC and HEATER control bad.its not allowing vacuum to open air door.

Have a series of 5 chimes 5 times believe its

The secondary air bag warning is an audible fault format that consists of five sets of five tone bursts, with each set of five tone bursts separated by a five second quiet period. One tone burst cycle will consist of one second ON and one second OFF. This series of five activations is repeated every 30 minutes.
This will tone if the air bag indicator is inoperative.
Suggest to have the dealer or someone with a scan tool that will communicate with the restraint system retrieve codes.

Engine fan will not turn off during driving

Your Vehicle Has a Manual Fan Clutch.. So it will run constantly.. Un fortunately.. Its probably bad , It does have a speed sensor built into the fan that make its sound like a jet running full blast all the time.. And It does run off the Belt.. Its Not electric..

2004 denali rear hvac

I had this same problem, With it running and heat and blower on full blast remove and unplug the rear faceplate for the rear heat.
Unplug for about a min.
Shut off engine.
Cycle the key 5 times.
Start engine.
Plug in the plug to the face plate.
For about a min. nothing will happen no heater no blower.
After the multiplex system refinds its address, the rear heat will then work again.
this worked for my 04 trailblazer.
