MAY BE THE FACTORY IMMOBILISER IS DEAD OR SOMETIMES THE KEY HAS A BATTERY IN IT AND THE CAR CORROSPONDES WITH THE KEY AS THE IGNITION IS TURNED ON , THIS TURNS THE IMMOBILISER OFF

1996 Toyota Camry won't do anything when trying to start, nothing electrical works, won't shift from park. Battery has 13 volts.

you meant it wont crank , right? its silent/
no grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound.... like all cars do cranking?

you blew a main fuse. (nothing works, that means you key on
and the large numbers of idiot lamps are all dead, including the CEL lamp (EFI is dead if CEL is dead, no spark or fuel happens with ECU/PCM dead.) so is it?
if CEL is dead, oil, charge and freinds, all dead, the fuse is blown
for cluster or the main under hood.
this is easy, 13v on bat... make this easy.

Making a clicking sound when tring to start up

check to see if the battery is good..all connections are snug..there is power loss somewhere..if alarm is activated some will still beep others will chirp.. turn lights on and try to start the car..if lights go dead..battery is too weak to be any good..if new..put on charger..look at the charger guage.. 6 amp charger will show pegged needle when first plugged in if battery is good, then drop back to normal rate until full takes a few hours..check all connections..good luck..

Radio quit playing now car wont start cannot shift into nutrial

The first thing to check is the battery, if the battery is dead try jump starting it with another car or use another battery, if it then starts you should have the alternator tested, most autoparts stores do this at no charge, it may be that the alternator is not keeping the battery charged.

My car is not starting, when i switch on my car, the dash board lights are on, when i start, it wont. It just makes a tick sound. whats the problem, is it with motor?

Your battery is dead or needs charged. So, either the alternator is not charging the battery, or the battery needs replaced.

My 2006 Toyota Camry won't start. Battery seems okay since all dashboard lights come on as expected. I get a slight chirping sound when I turn the key. Is is the starter moter?

Better try getting a boost first. The starter takes far more power than all your lights and fans put together. After that you can determine what caused it to go dead.

2006 Toyota Camry brake lights won't go off

there is a rubber pad on the brake pedal lever if the pad falls off it wont depress the brake light switch when the pedal is released check that first. replacement pads are available at your local dealer.
