I have a 2001 VW GTI and the light, windshield wipers, horn, and A/C are not working. they all went out at the same time. what's the problem. i checked the fuses and they are all good.

if your hearing a clicking sound when pushing the horn button then it sounds like you need to replace the horn the diaphram is probably no good.if it was a bad connection you wouldn`t hear a clicking noise.the slow wipers sounds like it could be a poor ground on the wiper motor.you can run a separate ground wire to the wiper body and if the wipers work at a normal speed then that is all you have to do.if not then the power wire needs to be checked for battery voltage if its good then the problem is likely the wiper motor itself.the flickering interior light may be the light switch maybe moving just enough to make contact to allow power to the light.make sure the switch is into the off position and see what happens.

HAVE VECHICLE CODE SCAN COULD HAVE ECM PROBLEMS, IF YOU HAD OLD TROUBLE CODES ERASED AFTER THE REPAIR WAS DONE PROBLEM COULD BE IN ECM.

If it was the relay, they would not work at all. There is a speed control for the wipers that controls the speed and delay (not the switch in the steering wheel), call the dealer to see if it is a separate module or integrated into the motor (if it is the later, you'll need a rebuilt/new unit).

I am having the same problem on my 08 wrangler sahara unlimited. I was told it was because of a loose battery connection. I checked and the connections are fine.

A gear is broken inside of the motor, it sounds like the wipers were frozen to the windshield. This not supposed to happen. it is a bad design.
Since you are under warranty, I would talk the the Service Manager at a VW Dealership.

Change the oil and filter.Change the plugs and air filter.Change the fuel filter.Check washers wipers,Horn.Check all lights check brake fluid.Check power steering fluid.Check all belts for wear and tear.Remove wheels and check brakes for wear.Check tyers And check suspention ball joints for wear.Make sure the timming belt has been changed.If not have it changed.

I had a simlar issue with my 99 gti vr6. My head lights, horn, wipers & climate control would not work. I found out my ignition switch was fried. Strange because my car would still start. Issue is fixed now.

You need to check your Fuses.. It sounds like you blew a fuse that controls Those Items..

tighten wiper arm nut located at bottom of arm by hood
